ISMI premium springs are manufactured exclusively with certified aerospace specification alloys. Then our springs are heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved after winding to enhance performance and durability. Our springs utilize the same design and manufacturing technology as used in Indy Car and Formula One racing. In a typical 500 mile race, a valve spring in an Indy Car will go through more than 2,500,000 compression cycles. Consideration of factors such as modulus, wire diameter, mean diameter, active coils, total deflection, spring relaxation, maximum service temperature, and operating environment; results in you having modern spring technology available for your pistol.
12 Month Replacement Warranty
All ISMI springs are covered by a 12 month replacement warranty. Even for failure due to wear.

Glock ISMI Captured Guide Rod - ISMI steel guide rods are compatible with ISMI springs which have the smaller inside diameter. Replaces the stock plastic guide rod for increased longevity and smoother cycling. This part can be used as either a captured or uncaptured unit.  Be aware that replacing the stock plastic guide rod makes a Glock illegal for IDPA SSP division.  Contact me and I will be happy to explain how to replace the stock spring with a lighter weight spring in the stock plastic recoil rod assembly so the gun remains SSP legal.  Three models are available for the Glock model 17, 19, and 20 pistol family.
